Established in 1978, our reach expanded when we introduced our subsidiary, Primo Products Sdn Bhd, 14 years ago to focus on global market distribution. As one of Malaysia’s largest noodle producers, we take pride in our acclaimed brands, including Cap Kunci, Noble Noodles, Key, and EhhNak. By leveraging our robust in-house logistics division, EHH not only ensures efficient distribution across the nation but also ranks among the top 3 logistics providers in the country for food distribution coverage, emphasizing our leadership in the sector.

The EHH commitment to the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) is key to the sustainability of our business. The leadership at EHH acknowledges ESG as a key element and actively ensures that operations across the company capture the aspects of ESG.

EHH has implemented measures for wastewater management to treat water before releasing it into the sewage. We have installed 1,298 units of solar panels at its manufacturing plant. Each panel measures 2.59 sqm, which equals to 3,362 sqm (36,500 sqft) of panels installed and energy saved per month approximately 70,000 kWh. We are working on installing more panels in the future.

EHH Food Industry Sdn. Bhd. (EHH) is a Malaysian homegrown company that began operations in 1978 in Klang, Selangor. For forty-five years, EHH has served millions of Malaysians their favourite noodles. EHH brands, Cap Kunci, Noble Noodles, Key and EhhNak, are preferred and enjoyed by families across the region. Since its inception, the family-owned business has grown from strength to strength to become one of the country’s top-notch food manufacturers. Today, the company is among the leading manufacturers of fresh noodles, beancurd (tofu) and dried products.

Within ten years of its inception,  EHH was producing two to three tonnes of noodles daily with a workforce of 20 employees.  By 1989, the number of workers had risen to 50, and the company had moved to its current location in Telok Gong, Selangor.  The Telok Gong Manufacturing Plant is a 2.5-acre facility.  The Plant is equipped with leading-edge automation technology that enables a daily production of 50 tonnes of noodles, making EHH’s output among the largest volume produced per day.  Now run by the second generation, EHH and its versatile and premium-quality products are fast gaining popularity beyond borders.

EHH is a leading manufacturer of fresh noodles, beancurd (tofu) and dried products. The company places a strong commitment to R&D and innovation which drives its vision to provide customers with the highest-quality standard products made from the freshest ingredients.

EHH products are marketed under the following brands:-

  • Cap Kunci – Features a range of fresh and dried noodles, cooking paste and other products such as cincau.
  • Noble Noodles – Features a range of chilled and dried speciality products such as dumpling skin, Yee Mee and E-Fu noodles in various flavours.
  • Key – Features the tofu series including a range of fresh and tasty beancurd selections.
  • EhhNak – Features a range of products for the overseas market.

EHH products are reputed for their great taste and texture and pay homage to its inherited Asian tradition.  A four-decade-long experience of refining and fine-tuning its ingredients and manufacturing methods has resulted in quality food products recognised by the industry and consumers.

At the core of EHH is an unwavering commitment to safe and nutritious food.  EHH products use the freshest ingredients, adhere to Malaysia’s strict HALAL certification requirements, and are accredited by certifications from Makanan Selamat  Tanggungjawab Industri (MeSTI), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP),  Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points  (HACCP),  ISO 2200 Food Safety Management System and National Mark of Malaysia Brand Certification.

State-of-the-art Production

EHH implements fully integrated and comprehensive production lines that utilise fully and semi-automatic machinery.  The Plant also has a flour silo facility.  All mixing, cooking and packaging processes are done in an enclosed environment to maintain the sanitation of the production area.

Automation and digitalisation are key growth factors that EHH believes play a key role in preserving the quality and sustainability of the manufacturing processes.  EHH continues to be invested in new machinery and facilities to enhance production technology in order to maximise its competitive edge.

Commitment to R&D

Over the years, EHH has been at the forefront of shifts in consumer behaviours.  People from all backgrounds and walks of life enjoy EHH products, which are versatile and cater to the fusion between the East and West culinary scene.

The EHH research and development (R&D) team keeps abreast of market shifts through an internal process that provides an understanding of customer demographics and dynamic changes in ingredient profiles.  This information is crucial in helping the R&D team establish research initiatives focused on leading the competition through quality improvement and product creation as well as new ways to cook and enjoy EHH products.

The EHH Logistics Division

EHH has one of the largest distribution channels in the country.  EHH has a logistic arm with a fleet of 25 trucks, with sizes ranging between 5 to 12-tonne, that deliver products to towns in Malaysia and Singapore.

The highly-skilled logistics team ensures that products remain fresh during transportation and assures distributors that supply will be on time and in good order.  This added value differentiates EHH and provides an impetus for growth and expansion.

EHH Collaboration with Industry

EHH builds and nurtures sustainable relationships with strategic partners to provide quality products and services that fulfil market expectations. A good understanding and network of the industry are vital to guarantee the supply of quality ingredients. EHH explores opportunities with local produce suppliers to extend its brand portfolio, one example being the Sambal line that uses locally-sourced fresh produce.

and Internationalisation

EHH supplies its products to over 500 hypermarkets, supermarkets, retail and wholesale outlets all over Malaysia. EHH’s products are also used by hotels. Its Sambal products are available in Singapore, and the Tofu Series is available in the Indonesian market.  EHH products are also sold on platforms such as  Shopee and Alibaba.  The company is crossing borders to establish itself in the region and its products are attracting interest internationally.
